Hardipave™ delivers heavy-duty performance at Birkenhead Docks
Miles Macadam recently partnered with Breedon on a major resurfacing project at Stena Line’s 12 Quays Terminal in Birkenhead, supporting the expansion of the facility with a high-performance surfacing solution designed for demanding port conditions.The project involved the creation of two new trailer parks and approximately 200 additional parking spaces on a former infilled dock. With the site subject to heavy vehicle movements and potential ground movement, the surfacing solution needed to combine strength, durability and flexibility, while also providing resistance to fuel and the stresses associated with static and slow-moving heavy vehicles.
