This on-site process offers a permanent repair solution that eliminates the need for future maintenance. Some of the advantages of Pacopatch include long-lasting reinstatement, improved structural integrity, absence of voids, no compaction required, quick installation, and a 5-year warranty.

The installation procedure involves removing and replacing the existing ironwork, bedding it in rapid-set mortar, and filling it with hot polymer-modified mastic asphalt. Cold mono-polymer bricks are then laid to cool the hot asphalt and provide structural stability. Additional mastic asphalt is applied to fill any voids and create a solid structure, which is then levelled by hand. Pre-coated asphalt chippings are embedded in the surface to enhance texture and skid resistance. Finally, overbanding is applied to finalise the process.

Pacopatch is particularly well-suited for high-stress environments and areas prone to recurring issues, such as highways, airfields, roundabouts, and junctions. As an Approved Installer, Miles Macadam has successfully completed Pacopatch projects in various locations, including bus stations, car parks, and distribution centres.
