Miles Macadam has partnered with Leeds City Council to resurface several key bus laybys in the city centre. The project, which took place on Newmarket Street, Church Street, and Duncan Street, utilised our cementitious grouted macadam Hardipave in a buff finish. Hardipave™ is ideal for bus laybys because it is specifically designed to withstand the intense and repetitive stresses caused by heavy traffic. Bus laybys experience frequent stopping and starting of buses, which can lead to deformation issues like rutting and surface wear over time.
